Òrain na Mara/ Songs of the Scottish Sea

corry-selkies.jpegAn  innovative 2 year residency at SAMS with Filmmaker Andy Crabb. This collaborative project funded by investment from Creative Scotland will create two linked sets of four films, under the collective project title:

Òrain na Mara/ Songs of the Scottish Sea

The films will be based on 4 marine themes: Neart na Mara / The Power of the Sea, Biadh na Mara / The Food of The Sea , Slàinte na Mara / The Health of the Sea, Cumadh na Mara / The Shape of the Sea

Andy Crabb short biography

Andy Crabb is a film and image maker of 20 years experience living and working on the west coast of Scotland. With a background in arts and music related filmmaking Andy is currently Filmmaker in Residence at SAMS, working on a two year collaborative project Òrain na Mara-Songs of the Scottish Sea. The project is supported by investment from Creative Scotland.
