Dr Claire Gachon


Principal Investigator in Molecular Phycology

I am interested in all aspects of algal host-pathogen interactions, especially approached from a functional and evolutionary genomics perspective.

I also coordinate the molecular activities of the Culture Collection of Algae and Protozoa at SAMS and am a member of the Department of Microbial and Molecular Biology. I contribute to the Dynamic Oceans research theme.
