Services

SAMS offers a range of commercial services including environmental surveying, sampling, monitoring and analysis, to enable the sustainable exploitation and management of the oceans. We operate globally and our clients include industry, government, NGOs and the general public. Commercial services are administered through SAMS Research Services Limited (SRSL), a wholly owned trading subsidiary of SAMS.

Facilities

There are a number of facilities which are an integral part of SAMS. They include the Culture Collection of Algae and Protozoa, the European Centre for Marine Biotechnology, the National Facility for Scientific Diving, the hyperbaric chamber, the aquarium and our research vessels. SAMS also has Analytical Facilities and Conference facilities available for hire.
