SAMS has a large conference room and six meeting rooms that serve the staff for lectures, seminars, workshops and meetings and that allow our scientists to organise smaller conferences or international meetings including summer schools at SAMS. SAMS has also organised large conferences in Oban, such as the Challenger Conference for Marine Science 2006 with over 350 delegates, but to host such large events we include the use of external facilities in Oban.
