Understanding coasts: barnacles show the way [January 2010]

Scientific interests

Marine Ecology: Development and tests of concepts and problems in ecology, with special reference to shallow-water and intertidal communities.

Animal Behaviour: Foraging behaviour, habitat selection behaviour and responses to predators.

Behavioural and life history modelling: Application and development of optimisation models to predict behaviour and life histories

Models of populations and communities: Development of models, particularly spatial models  and individual-based models, using information from studies at small spatial scales and individuals.
