Scientific interests

Intertidal ecology, invertebrates, especially fish, crustacea and molluscs.

Current projects

NERC Oceans 2025 Theme 4.

I am also closely involved in the management, delivery and development of the UHI BSc (Hons) in Marine Science.

Member of the Dunstaffnage Hyperbaric Unit recompression chamber response team.
