Job Title: Research Fellow in Marine Modelling

Scientific interests

  •   Physical Oceanography - modelling and observations
  •   Physical processes which determines the evolution of heat and salt content on   the range of scales from Scottish sea lochs with the sills to the North Atlantic Ocean
  •  Turbulent mixing and their relation with internal waves and tides, modelling of their combined effects with external (meteo) forcing on water renovation in the semi-enclosed basins

Current projects

  • HYPOX -  In situ monitoring of oxygen depletion in hypoxic ecosystems of coastal and open seas, and land-locked water bodies
