Postgraduate representative on the UHI research degrees committee (RDC)
Assisted in 3-4 undergrad/Masters practical classes (seven classes between 2016 and 2017).
Provided two (separately) undergrad students with work experience learning basic molecular and microalgae/bacteria culture techniques.
Assisted with marking of Masters presentations.
In previous role as a lipid analyst (University of Stirling), provided training to undergrad and postgrad students in lipid extraction and fatty acid analysis techniques.
Underwater TV Survey. (2009). Participated as a student in an UWTV survey for Nephrops norvegicus in the Celtic Sea on the RV Celtic Voyager.
Fisheries Sampling. (2009/2008). Sampling various fish species landed at fishing ports around the Republic of Ireland. Sampling involved length, weight and otolith removal for aging purposes.
