Arctic sampling cruise
Kate McIntyre and John Howe participated in an Arctic sampling cruise of the Maria S. Merian during August 2007. This joint AWI/GeoMar, Uni Kiel cruise focussed on sampling deep-water sites of enhanced sedimentation on the Svalbard margin. Katsenlot, box and gravity corer samples were recovered.
