All at SAMS and the wider UHI partnership are saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

UHI Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Todd Walker has sent condolences to the university's Chancellor, HRH The Princess Royal, and her family at this difficult time.

Professor Walker said: "We acknowledge her lifelong dedication to public service and share her love for our beautiful country.

"As a mark of respect, we will pause less urgent activities across our partnership until after the day of her state funeral."

Local campuses will contact students to let them know about any changes to timetables and local access arrangements for the day of the state funeral, if applicable.
