In-person course
The in-person EIT Food course in algal biotechnology runs every other year rotating between Matis in Iceland, Fraunhofer in Germany and SAMS in Scotland. Each provider brings their own expertise so that participants can attend multiple courses and learn about different aspects of algal biotechnology.
The course is aimed at people with an educational or academic background or substantial experience in aquaculture, bioreactors or food systems. The course is an excellent starting point for innovators or entrepreneurs thinking of moving into the algal biotech sector.
The next in-person EIT Food Algal Biotechnology course will run 2-4 Sep at Matis in Reykjavik, Iceland. During this course participants will visit companies in the algal biotech sector.
