ACES Education Administrator – Postgraduate (D17/22.ECC)


Location:  SAMS, Oban

Contract Type: Fixed Term, until August 2027

Working Pattern:  Part Time, 22.2hrs p/w (0.6 FTE)

Salary Range: £24,174-£27,116 pro rata

 

The Role

You will provide administrative support for the EU-Erasmus Mundus Joint master’s in Aquaculture, Environment and Society STAR (ACES-STAR).

You will administer the full student journey from student enquiries, recruitment and visas, enrolment, induction, examinations (and exam boards), plus student support and general programme administration.

 

Our Ideal Candidate

You will possess excellent organisational, planning and writing skills, have attention to detail and be able to work independently and to a high standard. Familiarity and competency on most Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc) will be required.

You will also need excellent communication skills, dealing with communications from students (UK, EU and International) and academic colleagues in UK and EU-based professional administrative units across the sector.

 

Support

You will work independently, but be supported by the ACES-STAR Programme Leader (Prof E Cottier-Cook) and the wider Education and Communication administration and academic teams at SAMS and UHI.
