Safety Health and Environment Advisor

My early interest in health and safety grew while I was working as a lab technician.

Since then, through experience of working in varied disciplines, I have developed a range of skills that enable SAMS to deliver an effective health and safety management system as well as an environment management system.

My role at SAMS is to ensure the implementation and coordination of the health and safety management policy and for the provision of safety advice to staff and students. I am also responsible for developing the environmental management system and business continuity plan for the institute and for assisting the Directorate in developing selected capital projects.
