I am a software engineer focusing on the NERC C2 Oceanids program. I am currently working on a web user interface for the seaglider piloting tool. This is a distributed system with parts in Southampton, Liverpool and Oban.

Prior to SAMS, I worked for 15 years on design of the control system, scheduler, instrument control and data processing for the Liverpool Robotic Telescope on La Palma in the Canary islands. I hold a BSc in Astrophysics from the University of Edinburgh, a BSc in Computing from the Open University and a PhD in System Modelling from Liverpool John Moores University.
