My research interests include macroalgal cultivation, specifically of kelp species. I am working on new methods of seeding and outplanting, on new hatchery techniques and have been involved in various projects exploring the use of seeded macroalgal stock for biofuels.

I am also interested in the cultivation on on-growth of sea urchins and sea cucumbers. Finally, I am committed to research towards Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture.
