Eric has a degree in mathematics and a postgraduate degree in economics. He graduated in 2020 from HEC/Saïd Business School’s Consulting and Coaching for Change programme writing his dissertation on ‘The Impact of Governance on the Performance of Registered Social Landlords in Scotland’.
Eric has worked in the financial industry for more than 30 years, covering many areas of wholesale banking across products, customer facing functions and operations/IT. He built experience working in Belgium, USA, the Netherlands and managed functional teams across Asia and Europe.
Eric is currently chair of the supervisory board at Modulr Finance BV and Fourthline BV, two fintech companies in Amsterdam. In the past he has also served on the board of Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd (HIAL) by the Scottish Ministers and he was a trustee at Muirhouse Housing Association (MHA) in Edinburgh. Eric also serves on the Finance Committee at SAMS.
He has extensive experience in financial services and governance in the private, public and charity sector. Eric serves on the audit and risk committees at Modulr Finance BV and Fourthline BV.
