SAMS started with an epic voyage of discovery, so why not create your own exciting journey to help the oceans today! Running, cycling, knitting and baking to raise vital donations for SAMS couldn’t be easier – simply follow these 4 steps:

1. Decide on your activity or event
What are you good at, what do you LOVE doing and how could you challenge yourself? Fundraising is unique to YOU so choose what you’ll have the most fun doing.

2. Set up your fundraising page
Simply set up your fundraising page on JustGiving and share your story. Why are you taking on this challenge? What do you love so much about the ocean?

3. Spread the word
Let your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram followers know what you’re up and how they can SUPPORT you. Keep your fundraising page updated as you go. We love seeing your pictures and all the great fundraising you're doing so tag in @samsoceannews on twitter and @samsmarinescience on Instagram and we’ll give you a BIG like!

4. Pay in your donations
When you’ve completed your challenge or event, sending us the funds you've raised is simple! If you’re set up on JustGiving, you don’t need to do anything, and if you’re offline simply pay the donations into your own account, and then donate them to us online or via a cheque.

We’ll send you a certificate to say a big THANK YOU for raising funds for a healthier ocean and a stronger planet!
